JAMES C. NAPOLI
Founding Partner

Mr. James C. Napoli is a founding member of the law firm of Caesar & Napoli. After graduating from law school, he joined the defense firm of Ginsberg and Caesar located in downtown Manhattan. He quickly distinguished himself as a superior trial lawyer and negotiator and was named a partner after six years with the firm. Having lifelong ties to downtown New York City, Mr. Napoli then began his own practice in New York's Chinatown representing severely injured Asian immigrants. Mr. Napoli's practice involves representing seriously injured person in the following types of cases:

  • Construction Accidents
  • Traumatic Brain Injury
  • Spinal Cord Injury
  • Tractor Trailer Accidents
  • Wrongful Death
  • Automobile Accidents
  • Defective Products
  • Medical Negligence
  • Defective Roadways

Mr. Napoli's reputation as a decisive and impressive lawyer in the courtroom had resulted in numerous significant recoveries for his Asian clients. Among Mr. Napoli's many notable recoveries for his Asian clientele include recoveries of $5,000,000.00, $4,900,000.00 and $4,400,000.00. In addition, Mr. Napoli is proud to represent many Asian clients in complex personal injury and wrongful death litigation involving 15 passenger van rollovers and defective tires.

Mr. Napoli's philosophy on best representing his clients is to put the time and money necessary into the full preparation of a case. This is done while at the same time avoiding unnecessary expenses. He has found that we can achieve the best settlements for our clients by not trying to work with the insurance company on a claims basis. Rather, he will file your case into suit and press it on for trial. The best settlement arises when your case is coming up for trial and it has been fully prepared. The insurance company or defendant can then see that you have the proof necessary to win. Mr. Napoli will not hesitate about going to trial, if that is what you want and if doing so is likely to be better than any settlement which is offered. On the other hand, Mr. Napoli will not try a case that should be settled just to add to his reputation, since that practice risks the client losing everything.

Mr. Napoli is admitted to practice before all of the Courts of the State of New York and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Mr. Napoli has acted as special counsel for Covenant House of New York City, a non-profit organization assisting homeless children and in is presently a member of numerous Boards of non-profit associations. Mr. Napoli represented, pro bono, a number of victims of the World Trade Center disaster, including both victims as well as rescuers such as injured firemen.
